Wall / floor / ceiling mounted and free standing air conditioning systems are the most common domestic models. Stand alone air conditioners can be moved from room to room and are usually plugged into the wall. Mounted air conditioners are attached to a relevant surface and require a hole and an appropriate power source close by. The Unico system is also a popular option as it offers attractive discrete design and even room temperatures without drafts. It is very quiet and unobtrusive in appearance as it could be installed to literally anywhere.

The models used vary according to need from wall mounted system for small office to multi split cassette or ducted system for a bigger site. VRF units are also used for both cooling and heating, incorporating the latest inverter technology with an Intelligent Power Drive Unit (IPDU). It ensures maximum energy efficiency by utilizing heat recovery systems that facilitate one zone of the building that requires heating to transfer the cool air to another zone requiring cooling.
Unico system could be installed providing efficient cooling and heating with just a 1C difference from floor to ceiling. The system can also cool using chilled water.

Whether for general ventilation or a special purpose we can design and install galvanised steel and stainless steel ventilation / extraction systems including fresh air supply. Stainless steel kitchen canopies can be custom made with all elements complying with highest standards. We specialise in the refurbishment and upgrade of existing systems. Often, minor alterations to an existing installation can result in significant improvements, preventing the need for costly replacement. We can supply and install a full range of air handling plant and ancillary parts such as fan units, motors, drive belts and pulleys, filters and housings, silencers, support brackets, chillier units etc.
 

We provide full air conditioning and ventilation / extraction service carried out by our own engineers in compliance to HVCA standards and all relevant HSE (COSHH, Fire Safety etc) and Environmental legislation (F-gases etc).

• Pre service. We carry out a pre service site inspection for cleaning requirements and if necessary provide documented statements and risk assessments.
• Canopy cleaning. We degrease and decarbonise the interior and exterior of canopies, removing coatings of carbon and solidified cooking oils built up from cooking fumes that have spread throughout the extraction unit and trunking.
• Access doors. We supply and fit HVCA DW144 compliant inspection hatches for easy inspection and maintenance.
• Ducting cleaning. We deep clean main ducting and replace flex ductwork if necessary.
• Grille cleaning. Our trained teams pay particular attention to seams, rivets and anti drip gullies and removing and cleaning all extraction grilles.
• Extraction Fan cleaning. We remove, clean and check extraction fans, including fan blades, motor casing housing and wiring.
• Grease Filters. We remove and deep clean the filters, filter housing and trunk interiors, to ensure hygiene and fire risk safety standards are continually exceeded and if necessary supply and fit new.
• Air monitoring. We check and analyse air velocity as recommended by HSG37.
• Post service. We provide photographic evidence of before and after work carried out and reports on findings and further recommendations.

• Air conditioning cleaning. We check for damage and clean fascia and drip trays on indoor and outdoor units.
• Filter cleaning We check and clean filters and supply new if necessary.
• Coil cleaning. We check indoor fan coils for contamination and chemically clean if necessary. We also check and clean condensing unit coils.
• Condensate pump servicing. We check, service and replace if necessary auxiliary condensate pumps.
• Electronic checking. Our trained engineers check the whole system including control panel for error codes, discharge temperature, current readings, operation of fan motor, isolators etc. We also electronically check for gas leaks as per schedule defined in EC Regulation 842/2006 with post service monitoring, reporting and record keeping.
• Post service. We provide photographic evidence of before and after work carried out and reports on findings and further recommendations.
